As this summer winds down and fall starts appearing in the color of the leaves and the starting of school, I look at this past month and say, "Where has the summer gone?" It has been an unusually busy summer for our family. Last night as we watched the sun go down at our farm out in the country and saw God’s beauty in the pink colors and the light drawing a line around the clouds, it gave us pause to stop and say thank you God for your beauty and where you have placed us in this world. We get so busy with activities it sometimes takes a beautiful sunset to say slow down and "Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in his wonderful face, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace." Heavenly Father, As we go into this new season, thank you for your love and grace. Help us in our busyness to remember you and to witness for you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
