Petoskey UMC - Small Groups and Fellowship

Small Groups are a great way to be challenged and encouraged in your spiritual journey. We have opportunities for youth and adults on various days throughout the week to explore the Bible and faith in everyday life through building relationships. Adult groups cover a wide variety of options, including book discussions, topics such as marriage and parenting, as well as various Bible studies. Small groups are facilitated by lay leaders and can last from six weeks to several months. Contact Deb Cole for more information regarding any of the these groups.

Prayer Shawl Group Gatherings

Meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the church.There are now several different colors of yarn available if you need yarn to make a shawl.Everyone is welcome to gather to learn more about the UMW prayer shawl ministry at Petoskey UMC.If you have started a shawl – bring it with you; if not – come and learn to knit/crochet one!!! UMW Reader's

The UMW Reader's have begun for this year. They meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month at Meredith Richter's house at 1:00 p.m. For more information, contact Meredith by phone at 347-9717 or by email at mrich1300@yahoo.com.

The entree, table service and beverage are provided. Bring a dish to share and come enjoy the fellowship. If you are interested in cooking for one of the dinners, sign up in the Narthex to cook, or to be a cook's assistant. Contact Susan Wirgau for more information.
