ABC's of Salvation

We live in a world that finds truth through “things” which are relevant, spectacular and powerful. The world depends on these “things” to survive, but in the end they will be destroyed. Do you want to depend on the world’s truth for survival, or on God’s truth for survival?

"Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13).

“For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, not by works but by the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:8).

No matter who you are or what you have done, your salvation experience will be the beginning of your relationship with Jesus Christ. Understanding salvation is as simple as "A.B.C."

Admit to yourself and God that you are a sinner.

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God ...."

Believe that Jesus suffered, died and rose from the dead for you.

Isaiah 53:5 “He was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; by his wounds we are healed”

Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and savior of the world!

Romans 1:16 "I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, because salvation comes to every one that believes ...."

Pray:

Father in Heaven.  Thank You for the sacrifice you made for me.  You sent your son, Jesus, to suffer and die for my sins.  And I know in my heart and mind that Jesus rose from the grave as proof that I was given everlasting life, WITH YOU!  Lord, please forgive me for my personal sins. Grant me a new and clean heart; pierce it with your Holy Spirit and live in me forever! Teach me to do your will on earth. And direct me in all the ways of my life, that I may follow you wherever you lead. Father, I offer this prayer today, believing that you are my father in Heaven and that you sent your only son, Jesus, to suffer and die for me. AMEN.
